With over 5 years of research and projects management experience, James Ngugi has overseen implementation of various projects ranging from donor-, public-, and private-funded projects in diverse sectors. He is equivalently passionate about research design, verily on the use of Mobile Data Collection (MDC). He is involved in designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects and programs and possesses an unrivalled specialty in proposal development, planning and design of projects, client engagement and management of projects, contracts management, data analysis and reporting.
James holds an MA in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, and additional training in monitoring and evaluation of health and population programmes. He is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), and is an implementer of Quality Management Systems (based on ISO 9001:2008 standards) and Information Security Management Systems (based on ISO 27001 standards). James is analytical and detailed, self-driven innovative and committed to quality. He is also a sports enthusiast and a soccer player.
